In conjunction with our back to back sermon series this summer and fall, we are
planning an opportunity for the entire congregation to participate in being a mission outpost church. We are hosting a community wide Back To School Bash on
Saturday, August 25 from 5-8pm. This is not just an event for school kids, this is
an event that the entire church is hosting for the community. You will be asked to
invite family, friends, and neighbors to join us as well as all of the kids you know
in your immediate neighborhood. There will be games for the kids, food for everyone,
and activities inside and outside the church.
This is not a “come if you have nothing else to do” event, this is “an all hands on
deck” event where the entire church will be reaching out to the community. It
will be a fun filled evening, and our community children and youth will be the
guests of honor. But just so you are not too nervous about your participation in
this event; this is not a “share the gospel with every person” event, this is a “get to
know you” time. Relax, have fun, and share God’s love!
